If you are just starting out, then you can buy a temporary costume from the cash shop until you manage to get your Spring/Assassin set. Do note that none of the costumes from the cash shop (except for the VIP weapons) can be enhanced, refined or recasted. They are just for show until you can get one of the previously mentioned sets.
You will need DNP (CC can't be obtained), which you can get from nests (or other people) that drop DNP coupons and Magic Reds that give a lot more DNP, to buy things from the cash shop.
First costume pieces you should know about are the VIP weapons from the cash shop, which you can open up in town by pressing F11 or clicking on the golden treasure chest on the bottom right of your screen, and going over to the VIP tab. They only cost 1 DNP each, and are the easiest and quickest things to get to use as sacrifices for recasting your costume items, because to recast costume items you need to use other costume items.
Remember that costume items can only be enhanced and recasted. They can't be refined until R6 and R7.
The other recastable costume items you'll need are all at Pania on the Special Mount tab (1 & 2). They include the wings, tail, decal, spirit, accessories, and Sring/Assassin set boxes that give any random piece of their respective set for any class.
Also while you're at it, you should get one of the epic (orange) grade pets from Pania on the Normal Mount tab (4), and max them to Lv.60 by giving them Large Boom Boom Drinks you can buy from the cash shop. They will make your life much easier and give you some good stats at max level.
