Talismans are a good way to increase your stats by a lot in the long run. Similar to how gear and costume items can be recasted, talismans can be synthesized. Synthesizing talismans upgrades them to a higher tier, allowing you to recast them further. Recasting talismans gives them the extra stats that they don't already have.
Getting talismans is quite simple. You can buy them from the official website's item mall, trade them with other people, buy them from the Auction House, buy the "Friends rage chest Amulet" box from the general merchant for 20 Universal Gems per box, or farm the boxes themselves from Daidalos Nest normal and hardcore.
You unlock the last 3 rows by simply clicking on each of the slots and buying them (as seen above). Each row going down is more expensive than the next. To unlock the top row you just have to buy the talisman expansion item from the cash shop on the Functional tab (as shown below).
Once you're ready to start working on your talismans, they should be green, because the first thing you will need to do is go over to the crafting tab of one of the blacksmiths (where you will see synthesis and recast tabs), click on the first synthesis tab and synthesize your talisman to blue (B grade). After you do that, you just go down on the same tab to the parts that say "Recast," and recast your talisman to +10. Once you do that, you just synthesize your talisman again (this time to A grade), and recast it to +20. Then just repeat the process until it's divine (R grade) at +50. Do keep in mind though, that your talismans may fail at any time during the recast process. It's not 100%.
